About Animal Face

Animal Face is a hybrid strain that comes from a cross of Face Off OG with Animal Mints. You may also see it sold as Animal Face #10. People who try it most often describe feeling uplifted, relaxed and focused.

THC and potency

Public lab results give a good picture of its strength: 277 flower samples tested between 2020 and 2023 came in at a median of 23.5% total THC (the middle half ranged from 20.5% to 26%). CBD is typically negligible (under 0.5%). That is in line with most flower on Canadian shelves. Potency varies by grower and batch, so always check the label.

Aroma, flavour and terpenes

In lab tests its dominant terpene is caryophyllene, followed by limonene and linalool. Caryophyllene is known for black pepper and warm spice, while limonene adds bright citrus-peel freshness. Total terpene content measured a median of 2.2%. Consumers most often describe the flavour as menthol, mint and diesel.

Reported effects

Beyond feeling uplifted, reviewers also mention feeling tingly and euphoric. Some consumers say they reach for it when dealing with anxiety, depression and pain. The side effects mentioned most are dizziness, anxiety and dry eyes.
