About The Original Z

The Original Z is an indica. You may also see it sold as Zkittlez, Skittlz, Island Zkittlez. Reviews most often mention feeling relaxed, sleepy and hungry.

THC and potency

Across 51 public lab tests of The Original Z flower between 2020 and 2024, the median result was 21% total THC, with half of all samples falling between 18.6% and 23.7%. CBD is typically negligible (under 0.5%). That is in line with most flower on Canadian shelves. Potency varies by grower and batch, so always check the label.

Aroma, flavour and terpenes

In lab tests its dominant terpene is myrcene, followed by pinene and limonene. Myrcene is known for earthy, musky notes with a ripe-fruit edge, while pinene adds sharp, fresh pine. Total terpene content measured a median of 1.5%. On the palate, people pick out grape, grapefruit and berry.

Reported effects

Beyond feeling relaxed, reviewers also mention feeling aroused and giggly. Some consumers say they reach for it when dealing with stress, anxiety and depression. The side effects mentioned most are headaches, dry eyes and dizziness. These are personal reports, not medical advice.
