About LA Confidential

LA Confidential is an indica-leaning strain. You may also see it sold as Confidential, Confidential OG, LA Con. People who try it most often describe feeling sleepy, hungry and euphoric.

THC and potency

Public lab results give a good picture of its strength: 180 flower samples tested between 2020 and 2022 came in at a median of 22% total THC (the middle half ranged from 20.3% to 23.4%). CBD is typically negligible (under 0.5%). That is in line with most flower on Canadian shelves. Potency varies by grower and batch, so always check the label.

Aroma, flavour and terpenes

In lab tests its dominant terpene is caryophyllene, followed by limonene and humulene. Caryophyllene is known for black pepper and warm spice, while limonene adds bright citrus-peel freshness. Total terpene content measured a median of 2.1%. Consumers most often describe the flavour as pine, skunk and spicy/herbal.

Reported effects

Beyond feeling sleepy, reviewers also mention feeling relaxed and aroused. Some consumers say they reach for it when dealing with stress, pain and anxiety. The side effects mentioned most are dry eyes, dry mouth and paranoia. These are personal reports, not medical advice.
