About Key Lime Pie

Key Lime Pie is a hybrid strain. You may also see it sold as Key Lime GSC, Key Lime Cookies. People who try it most often describe feeling happy, sleepy and giggly.

THC and potency

Public lab results give a good picture of its strength: 157 flower samples tested between 2020 and 2023 came in at a median of 19.1% total THC (the middle half ranged from 17.9% to 21%). CBD is typically negligible (under 0.5%). That is in line with most flower on Canadian shelves. Potency varies by grower and batch, so always check the label.

Aroma, flavour and terpenes

In lab tests its dominant terpene is limonene, followed by caryophyllene and linalool. Limonene is known for bright citrus-peel freshness, while caryophyllene adds black pepper and warm spice. Total terpene content measured a median of 1.2%. Consumers most often describe the flavour as lime, mint and sweet.

Reported effects

Beyond feeling happy, reviewers also mention feeling uplifted and tingly. Some consumers say they reach for it when dealing with stress, pain and depression. The side effects mentioned most are dry eyes, dry mouth and dizziness. These are personal reports, not medical advice.
