About Amnesia

Amnesia is a sativa-leaning strain. People who try it most often describe feeling giggly, energetic and talkative.

THC and potency

Public lab results give a good picture of its strength: 4 flower samples tested between 2020 and 2022 came in at a median of 16.6% total THC (the middle half ranged from 16.1% to 18.4%). That is in line with most flower on Canadian shelves. Potency varies by grower and batch, so always check the label.

Aroma, flavour and terpenes

Its reported terpene profile is led by terpinolene, with caryophyllene and ocimene. Terpinolene is known for fresh, herbal brightness with hints of pine and flowers, while caryophyllene adds black pepper and warm spice. Consumers most often describe the flavour as ammonia, spicy/herbal and tobacco.

Reported effects

Beyond feeling giggly, reviewers also mention feeling happy and hungry. Some consumers say they reach for it when dealing with stress, depression and anxiety. The side effects mentioned most are paranoia, dry mouth and anxiety. These are personal reports, not medical advice.

Amnesia in Canada

Our Canadian catalogue lists 4 products made with Amnesia, mostly accessories, flower and pre-rolls and smoking, from brands including Famous and Redecan. Availability differs by province and store.

Genetics

Amnesia is also a parent of Where's My Bike, Amnesi-K Lemon and Amnesia Zkittlez.
