About Star Killer

Star Killer is a cross-bred hybrid. You may also see it sold as Star Killer OG, Starkiller. The effects people mention most are feeling sleepy, relaxed and hungry.

THC and potency

Public lab results give a good picture of its strength: 118 flower samples tested between 2020 and 2022 came in at a median of 22.1% total THC (the middle half ranged from 20.5% to 24.6%). CBD is typically negligible (under 0.5%). That is in line with most flower on Canadian shelves. Potency varies by grower and batch, so always check the label.

Aroma, flavour and terpenes

In lab tests its dominant terpene is limonene, followed by caryophyllene and myrcene. Limonene is known for bright citrus-peel freshness, while caryophyllene adds black pepper and warm spice. Total terpene content measured a median of 1.5%. Consumers most often describe the flavour as spicy/herbal, lemon and pungent.

Reported effects

Beyond feeling sleepy, reviewers also mention feeling euphoric and tingly. Some consumers say they reach for it when dealing with stress, anxiety and pain. The side effects mentioned most are dry eyes, dry mouth and dizziness. These are personal reports, not medical advice.
