Sour Poison is a BC-grown cultivar from the Pure Sunfarms greenhouse. This potent sativa-dominant strain is a powerful cross of Sour Diesel x Durban Poison. It delivers pungent aromas of gas, sweet earth, and sour lemon from dominant terpenes Caryophyllene, Myrcene, and Limonene. The plant produces bright, minty olive-green buds covered in white crystal trichomes and fiery orange hairs. Pure BC bud, hand-harvested, hang-dried, and hand-finished.

Public lab results give a good picture of its strength: 32 flower samples tested between 2022 and 2023 came in at a median of 28.9% total THC (the middle half ranged from 26.7% to 30%). CBD is typically negligible (under 0.5%). That puts it at the strong end of the market, so newer consumers should start low. Potency varies by grower and batch, so always check the label.

Aroma, flavour and terpenes

In lab tests its dominant terpene is limonene, followed by caryophyllene and myrcene. Limonene is known for bright citrus-peel freshness, while caryophyllene adds black pepper and warm spice. Total terpene content measured a median of 2.1%. Consumers most often describe the flavour as menthol, citrus and grapefruit.
