Black Mamba
About Black Mamba
A cross of Granddaddy Purple and Black Domina, Black Mamba is an indica variety. You may also see it sold as Black Mamba #6. The effects people mention most are feeling sleepy, relaxed and hungry.
THC and potency
Public lab results give a good picture of its strength: 52 flower samples tested between 2020 and 2023 came in at a median of 18.3% total THC (the middle half ranged from 15.2% to 22.3%). CBD is typically negligible (under 0.5%). That is in line with most flower on Canadian shelves. Potency varies by grower and batch, so always check the label.
Aroma, flavour and terpenes
In lab tests its dominant terpene is limonene, followed by caryophyllene and pinene. Limonene is known for bright citrus-peel freshness, while caryophyllene adds black pepper and warm spice. Total terpene content measured a median of 1.3%. Consumers most often describe the flavour as grape, violet and plum.
Reported effects
Beyond feeling sleepy, reviewers also mention feeling giggly and happy. Some consumers say they reach for it when dealing with stress, insomnia and anxiety. The side effects mentioned most are dry eyes, dry mouth and headaches. These are personal reports, not medical advice.
