About Sour Kush

Sour Kush is a hybrid bred from Sour Diesel and OG Kush. You may also see it sold as Sour OG Kush. Reviews most often mention feeling uplifted, giggly and hungry.

THC and potency

Across 20 public lab tests of Sour Kush flower between 2021 and 2023, the median result was 19.7% total THC, with half of all samples falling between 17.9% and 21.6%. CBD is typically negligible (under 0.5%). That is in line with most flower on Canadian shelves. Potency varies by grower and batch, so always check the label.

Aroma, flavour and terpenes

In lab tests its dominant terpene is myrcene, followed by pinene and limonene. Myrcene is known for earthy, musky notes with a ripe-fruit edge, while pinene adds sharp, fresh pine. Total terpene content measured a median of 1.6%. On the palate, people pick out diesel, pungent and skunk.

Reported effects

Beyond feeling uplifted, reviewers also mention feeling talkative and energetic. Some consumers say they reach for it when dealing with stress, pain and anxiety. The side effects mentioned most are dry mouth, dry eyes and dizziness. These are personal reports, not medical advice.
