About 24k Gold

24k Gold is a hybrid bred from Kosher Kush and Tangie. You may also see it sold as 24k. Reviews most often mention feeling relaxed, uplifted and happy.

THC and potency

Public lab results give a good picture of its strength: 39 flower samples tested between 2020 and 2022 came in at a median of 18% total THC (the middle half ranged from 15.3% to 20.6%). CBD is typically negligible (under 0.5%). That is in line with most flower on Canadian shelves. Potency varies by grower and batch, so always check the label.

Aroma, flavour and terpenes

In lab tests its dominant terpene is caryophyllene, followed by limonene and myrcene. Caryophyllene is known for black pepper and warm spice, while limonene adds bright citrus-peel freshness. Total terpene content measured a median of 1%. Consumers most often describe the flavour as orange, citrus and grapefruit.

Reported effects

Beyond feeling relaxed, reviewers also mention feeling talkative and giggly. Some consumers say they reach for it when dealing with stress, anxiety and depression. The side effects mentioned most are dry mouth, dizziness and dry eyes. These are personal reports, not medical advice.
