About Sour Lemon

Sour Lemon is a hybrid bred from California Sour and Lemon OG. You may also see it sold as Sour Lemon OG, OG Sour Lemon. Reviews most often mention feeling energetic, creative and happy.

THC and potency

Public lab results give a good picture of its strength: 6 flower samples tested between 2023 and 2024 came in at a median of 20.3% total THC (the middle half ranged from 12.2% to 29.7%). CBD is typically negligible (under 0.5%). That is in line with most flower on Canadian shelves. Potency varies by grower and batch, so always check the label.

Aroma, flavour and terpenes

Its reported terpene profile is led by myrcene, with limonene and terpinolene. Myrcene is known for earthy, musky notes with a ripe-fruit edge, while limonene adds bright citrus-peel freshness. Total terpene content measured a median of 2%. Consumers most often describe the flavour as lemon, citrus and lime.

Reported effects

Beyond feeling energetic, reviewers also mention feeling talkative and focused. Some consumers say they reach for it when dealing with depression, stress and anxiety. The side effects mentioned most are dry eyes, paranoia and anxiety. These are personal reports, not medical advice.
