About Cotton Candy

A cross of Lavender and Power Plant, Cotton Candy is a cross-bred hybrid. You may also see it sold as Cotton Candy Kush. The effects people mention most are feeling euphoric, giggly and happy.

THC and potency

Across 48 public lab tests of Cotton Candy flower between 2021 and 2024, the median result was 19.3% total THC, with half of all samples falling between 17.3% and 21.8%. CBD is typically negligible (under 0.5%). That is in line with most flower on Canadian shelves. Potency varies by grower and batch, so always check the label.

Aroma, flavour and terpenes

Its reported terpene profile is led by myrcene, with pinene and limonene. Myrcene is known for earthy, musky notes with a ripe-fruit edge, while pinene adds sharp, fresh pine. Total terpene content measured a median of 1.4%. On the palate, people pick out sweet, lavender and flowery.

Reported effects

Beyond feeling euphoric, reviewers also mention feeling talkative and uplifted. Some consumers say they reach for it when dealing with stress, anxiety and depression. The side effects mentioned most are dry mouth, paranoia and dry eyes. These are personal reports, not medical advice.
