Gelato is a slightly Indica-dominant hybrid strain that is 55% Indica and 45% Sativa, with THC levels between 20% and 25%. It is a cross between parent strains Sunset Sherbet, Pink Kush, and Thin Mint Girl Scout Cookies. This delicious strain has the taste of sweet sherbet mixed with fruity blueberry orange, with an aroma of sweet lavender and citrus berry, with a hint of wood. The effects are head heavy and mainly cerebral in the beginning, until it becomes a full-on sedated couch lock. As the effects build, it becomes a blissful, uplifted euphoria, along with a creeping body buzz that progresses into a focused sort of energy. This strain is perfect for those who experience muscle spasms, chronic pain, inflammation, chronic fatigue, headaches, and migraines.
