Papa Smurf is a strain that stems from SFV and Headband. To further break it down, Headband is a strain that comes from the mix of Sour Diesel and OG Kush. It is 50/50 Savita/Indica. The smell of papa smurf  is very strong. Some refer to it as a kerosene aroma while others refer to it as very pungent diesel. It also has a touch of lemon scent to it, so overall it is a very strong smelling cannabis. The taste is a robust diesel taste and some feel it also has a taste similar to lemon. The smooth smoke it creates is worth the interesting smell and taste. The appearance is light green with some brown tinge. As the leaves are ready to be harvested, the crystals give it a colourful appearance that looks like it has been sprinkled with snow or salt. Papa Smurf  is often used to reduce stress and anxiety. It is also used for chronic migraines and to boost mood. Some people self-medicate with it to treat mild depression.
