About Pineapple Express

Pineapple Express is a hybrid bred from Trainwreck and Hawaiian. Reviews most often mention feeling energetic, happy and talkative.

THC and potency

Across 345 public lab tests of Pineapple Express flower between 2020 and 2024, the median result was 19% total THC, with half of all samples falling between 17% and 21.3%. CBD is typically negligible (under 0.5%). That is in line with most flower on Canadian shelves. Potency varies by grower and batch, so always check the label.

Aroma, flavour and terpenes

In lab tests its dominant terpene is caryophyllene, followed by humulene and myrcene. Caryophyllene is known for black pepper and warm spice, while humulene adds dry, woody and hop-like character. Total terpene content measured a median of 1.1%. On the palate, people pick out pineapple, tropical and mango.

Reported effects

Beyond feeling energetic, reviewers also mention feeling uplifted and giggly. Some consumers say they reach for it when dealing with stress, depression and anxiety. The side effects mentioned most are dry mouth, paranoia and dry eyes. These are personal reports, not medical advice.
