About Super Sour Diesel

A cross of Super Silver Haze and Sour Diesel, Super Sour Diesel is a sativa variety. You may also see it sold as Super Diesel, Super Sour. The effects people mention most are feeling energetic, creative and uplifted.

THC and potency

Public lab results give a good picture of its strength: 53 flower samples tested between 2020 and 2023 came in at a median of 26.6% total THC (the middle half ranged from 25.6% to 29%). CBD is typically negligible (under 0.5%). That puts it at the strong end of the market, so newer consumers should start low. Potency varies by grower and batch, so always check the label.

Aroma, flavour and terpenes

In lab tests its dominant terpene is caryophyllene, followed by limonene and myrcene. Caryophyllene is known for black pepper and warm spice, while limonene adds bright citrus-peel freshness. Total terpene content measured a median of 2.5%. Consumers most often describe the flavour as diesel, pungent and chemical.

Reported effects

Beyond feeling energetic, reviewers also mention feeling euphoric and focused. Some consumers say they reach for it when dealing with stress, anxiety and depression. The side effects mentioned most are dry mouth, dry eyes and paranoia. These are personal reports, not medical advice.
