About Strawberry Shortcake

A cross of White Wookie and The White, Strawberry Shortcake is an indica variety. The effects people mention most are feeling relaxed, sleepy and creative.

THC and potency

Public lab results give a good picture of its strength: 32 flower samples tested between 2020 and 2021 came in at a median of 21.6% total THC (the middle half ranged from 19.6% to 24%). CBD is typically negligible (under 0.5%). That is in line with most flower on Canadian shelves. Potency varies by grower and batch, so always check the label.

Aroma, flavour and terpenes

In lab tests its dominant terpene is limonene, followed by pinene and caryophyllene. Limonene is known for bright citrus-peel freshness, while pinene adds sharp, fresh pine. Total terpene content measured a median of 0.9%. Consumers most often describe the flavour as strawberry, vanilla and sweet.

Reported effects

Beyond feeling relaxed, reviewers also mention feeling tingly and aroused. Some consumers say they reach for it when dealing with anxiety, stress and depression. The side effects mentioned most are anxiety, dry eyes and headaches. These are personal reports, not medical advice.
