Birthday Cake

About Birthday Cake

Birthday Cake is a cross-bred hybrid. You may also see it sold as Birthday Cake Kush, Birthday Cake #3. The effects people mention most are feeling relaxed, hungry and sleepy.

THC and potency

Public lab results give a good picture of its strength: 94 flower samples tested between 2020 and 2022 came in at a median of 20.6% total THC (the middle half ranged from 19.3% to 22.5%). CBD is typically negligible (under 0.5%). That is in line with most flower on Canadian shelves. Potency varies by grower and batch, so always check the label.

Aroma, flavour and terpenes

In lab tests its dominant terpene is caryophyllene, followed by humulene and limonene. Caryophyllene is known for black pepper and warm spice, while humulene adds dry, woody and hop-like character. Total terpene content measured a median of 2%. Consumers most often describe the flavour as vanilla, sweet and butter.

Reported effects

Beyond feeling relaxed, reviewers also mention feeling happy and aroused. Some consumers say they reach for it when dealing with anxiety, stress and depression. The side effects mentioned most are anxiety, paranoia and dizziness. These are personal reports, not medical advice.
