First Class Funk is a hybrid strain that comes from a cross of GMO with Jet Fuel Gelato. People who try it most often describe feeling euphoric, uplifted and talkative.
Public lab results give a good picture of its strength: 597 flower samples tested between 2020 and 2024 came in at a median of 27.7% total THC (the middle half ranged from 25.3% to 29.8%). CBD is typically negligible (under 0.5%). That puts it at the strong end of the market, so newer consumers should start low. Potency varies by grower and batch, so always check the label.
In lab tests its dominant terpene is limonene, followed by caryophyllene and myrcene. Limonene is known for bright citrus-peel freshness, while caryophyllene adds black pepper and warm spice. Total terpene content measured a median of 2.6%. Consumers most often describe the flavour as pungent, pepper and diesel.
Beyond feeling euphoric, reviewers also mention feeling relaxed and aroused. Some consumers say they reach for it when dealing with depression, pain and anxiety. The side effects mentioned most are paranoia, headaches and anxiety. These are personal reports, not medical advice.
