Italian Ice is a hybrid. Reviews most often mention feeling relaxed, focused and sleepy.
Public lab results give a good picture of its strength: 56 flower samples tested between 2023 and 2024 came in at a median of 22.4% total THC (the middle half ranged from 20.9% to 24.1%). CBD is typically negligible (under 0.5%). That is in line with most flower on Canadian shelves. Potency varies by grower and batch, so always check the label.
In lab tests its dominant terpene is myrcene, followed by caryophyllene and pinene. Myrcene is known for earthy, musky notes with a ripe-fruit edge, while caryophyllene adds black pepper and warm spice. Total terpene content measured a median of 1.5%. Consumers most often describe the flavour as tobacco, tar and chestnut.
Beyond feeling relaxed, reviewers also mention feeling tingly. Some consumers say they reach for it when dealing with anxiety, stress and pain. The side effects mentioned most are dizziness, dry mouth and dry eyes. These are personal reports, not medical advice.
Italian Ice is also a parent of Sonata.
