Mai Tai is a hybrid bred from Maui Wowie and Tutti Frutti.
Public lab results give a good picture of its strength: 104 flower samples tested between 2020 and 2024 came in at a median of 21.7% total THC (the middle half ranged from 18.3% to 24%). CBD is typically negligible (under 0.5%). That is in line with most flower on Canadian shelves. Potency varies by grower and batch, so always check the label.
In lab tests its dominant terpene is terpinolene, followed by caryophyllene and myrcene. Terpinolene is known for fresh, herbal brightness with hints of pine and flowers, while caryophyllene adds black pepper and warm spice. Total terpene content measured a median of 1.4%.
