Platinum Valley is a sativa-leaning strain that comes from a cross of SFV Headband with Silver Grapes. People who try it most often describe feeling creative, energetic and euphoric.
Public lab results give a good picture of its strength: 15 flower samples tested between 2020 and 2022 came in at a median of 20.9% total THC (the middle half ranged from 18.5% to 23.4%). That is in line with most flower on Canadian shelves. Potency varies by grower and batch, so always check the label.
Its reported terpene profile is led by caryophyllene, with humulene and limonene. Caryophyllene is known for black pepper and warm spice, while humulene adds dry, woody and hop-like character. Consumers most often describe the flavour as lemon and earthy.
Some consumers say they reach for it when dealing with depression and eye pressure. The side effects mentioned most are paranoia. These are personal reports, not medical advice.
