Purple Mountain Majesty

About Purple Mountain Majesty

Purple Mountain Majesty is a hybrid strain that comes from a cross of Trainwreck with Blueberry Muffin. People who try it most often describe feeling relaxed, focused and happy.

THC and potency

Public lab results give a good picture of its strength: 46 flower samples tested between 2021 and 2023 came in at a median of 16.9% total THC (the middle half ranged from 14.3% to 19.1%). CBD is typically negligible (under 0.5%). That is in line with most flower on Canadian shelves. Potency varies by grower and batch, so always check the label.

Aroma, flavour and terpenes

In lab tests its dominant terpene is myrcene, followed by caryophyllene and limonene. Myrcene is known for earthy, musky notes with a ripe-fruit edge, while caryophyllene adds black pepper and warm spice. Total terpene content measured a median of 1.6%. Consumers most often describe the flavour as violet, blue cheese and diesel.

Reported effects

Beyond feeling relaxed, reviewers also mention feeling creative and tingly. Some consumers say they reach for it when dealing with anxiety, stress and pain. The side effects mentioned most are dry eyes and dry mouth. These are personal reports, not medical advice.
