Sunset MAC is a hybrid bred from Sunset and MAC. You may also see it sold as Sunny MAC. Reviews most often mention feeling focused, relaxed and creative.
Public lab results give a good picture of its strength: 131 flower samples tested between 2020 and 2022 came in at a median of 24.1% total THC (the middle half ranged from 21.6% to 26.2%). CBD is typically negligible (under 0.5%). That puts it at the strong end of the market, so newer consumers should start low. Potency varies by grower and batch, so always check the label.
In lab tests its dominant terpene is terpinolene, followed by caryophyllene and myrcene. Terpinolene is known for fresh, herbal brightness with hints of pine and flowers, while caryophyllene adds black pepper and warm spice. Total terpene content measured a median of 1.4%. Consumers most often describe the flavour as chestnut, citrus and violet.
Beyond feeling focused, reviewers also mention feeling uplifted and energetic. Some consumers say they reach for it when dealing with anxiety, pain and stress. The side effects mentioned most are dizziness and dry mouth. These are personal reports, not medical advice.
