Sweet Kush is a cross-bred hybrid. You may also see it sold as Sweet OG Kush, Sweet Hindu Kush. The effects people mention most are feeling hungry, aroused and talkative.
Public lab results give a good picture of its strength: 18 flower samples tested in 2022 came in at a median of 17.9% total THC (the middle half ranged from 15.5% to 19.4%). CBD is typically negligible (under 0.5%). That is in line with most flower on Canadian shelves. Potency varies by grower and batch, so always check the label.
In lab tests its dominant terpene is caryophyllene, followed by linalool and limonene. Caryophyllene is known for black pepper and warm spice, while linalool adds soft floral, lavender-like tones. Total terpene content measured a median of 1.2%. Consumers most often describe the flavour as sweet, honey and tea.
Beyond feeling hungry, reviewers also mention feeling tingly. Some consumers say they reach for it when dealing with stress, pain and anxiety. The side effects mentioned most are paranoia, dry eyes and dizziness. These are personal reports, not medical advice.
