Yesterday, December 3 2021, around 5:50-6:00pm, I, a 32-year old First Nations Man, visited the store to purchase a large quantity of the product for the weekend. Upon preparing to pay, the employee asked to see my identification. I showed him my I.D., which he said was expired and invalid. Surprisingly, he still offered to sell me the product despite my identification being invalid. This was especially strange since I had used the same I.D. at the store DOZENS of times with no issues. Feeling like I was being inconvenienced and humiliated, I declined the offer and left the store without making a purchase. I will not be returning to this store. If my I.D. was invalid, then why was the employee willing to sell me the product?
