Gorilla Cookies is a hybrid strain. People who try it most often describe feeling relaxed, sleepy and giggly.
Public lab results give a good picture of its strength: 87 flower samples tested between 2020 and 2022 came in at a median of 19.7% total THC (the middle half ranged from 17% to 22.1%). CBD is typically negligible (under 0.5%). That is in line with most flower on Canadian shelves. Potency varies by grower and batch, so always check the label.
In lab tests its dominant terpene is caryophyllene, followed by humulene and limonene. Caryophyllene is known for black pepper and warm spice, while humulene adds dry, woody and hop-like character. Total terpene content measured a median of 1.7%. Consumers most often describe the flavour as mint, pungent and nutty.
Beyond feeling relaxed, reviewers also mention feeling happy and hungry. Some consumers say they reach for it when dealing with anxiety, stress and pain. The side effects mentioned most are dry mouth, dizziness and paranoia. These are personal reports, not medical advice.
Gorilla Cookies is also a parent of Sea Monkey, King Cone and Frosty Kong.
